What is Kum Nye? ‘Kum Nye Tibetan Relaxation is a gentle healing system that relieves stress and transforms negative patterns. Kum Nye opens our senses and our hearts so we feel satisfied and fulfilled. The unique value of the Kum Nye system of relaxation is that it integrates healing of both body and mind, bringing their energies together to function calmly and smoothly. When we learn to open our senses and touch feelings directly our experience becomes rich & healthy. As we become deeply acquainted with ourselves we are able to share more fully with others.
Who can do Kum Nye? Kum Nye is suitable for all, regardless of age or ability. Kum Nye is easily incorporated into everyday experience and can enrich your life going forward.
Fran Burns has engaged with body mind integration for most of her working life. She has investigated the mind/body emotional connection through a masters in Dance/Movement Psychotherapy along with other movement and psychotherapeutic studies. Fran is a certified Kum Nye teacher and continues to study and explore now through the deep structure of Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga.
