Loving Kindness Meditation Morning

This event is facilitated by Fidelma Farley. While we all have the capacity to live from our hearts and to be a loving presence in the world, this capacity is often undermined by the barriers we put up to protect ourselves from being hurt. Often, we unwittingly erect these barriers against ourselves, and find that we struggle to be truly kind to ourselves. The busy lives that many of us lead these days also distract us from greater openness and connection to ourselves and others. The Loving Kindness meditation practice develops the ability to connect more fully to your heart, by bringing a kind awareness to your emotional responses to yourself and others. Emotional resilience, greater appreciation of the good things in your life, enhanced relationships and emotional positivity are just some of the consequences of practising this meditation.
In the workshop, you’ll be guided through the Loving Kindness meditation, with opportunities for discussion and questions throughout the morning. Open to all, regardless of meditation experience.
