Mind Body Skills Group – 6 weeks
October 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Monday, repeating until October 21, 2019
This is an 6 week group in a small intimate setting to reduce stress and create balance
In this group we will have an opportunity through practice to foster our growth using research proven skills which include: meditation, guided imagery, biofeedback & autogenic training, writing, drawing, movement and breathe work.
The group will be educational, supportive, participatory and structured. These mind body skills can be immediately incorporated into daily life and will help you learn to:
- Increase self awareness
- Develop effective coping skills
- Use your body’s natural abilities to relax
- Become aware of your body, release stress and increase your energy
- Cultivate mental and emotional balance
Facilitated by: Heidi Jackson BA and BNSc, Oncology Nurse and Complementary Therapist for 20 years. She is on the Faculty and is a Certified facilitator at the Centre for Mind Body Medicine (https://cmbm.org). She is sharing her passion to empower people to help themselves.
