Event Navigation

A New Sense of Being Adult in our Faith. How do we entertain and respond to the new questions of faith asked by contemporary adults?

Searching for a Meaningful Faith in Today’s Society, talk 2

We all search for meaning in life at some level. At our deepest level, what we are really searching for is a spirituality that is relevant and which will sustain us on our journey through life. Diarmuid O’Murchu has agreed to offer a series of sessions (approximately one per month for five months) to help us explore together some significant issues. The greatest benefit will be derived by attending each of the five sessions but this may not be possible for everyone interested. You may wish to attend sessions separately. When booking, please indicate which sessions you can attend. If you attend all five (and pay in advance) you need only pay for four sessions (€80). The sessions are €20 each.

Future events in series: start 2:00 – 5pm with optional Eucharist at 5:00

Sat, Dec 2nd Christmastide: Its Meaning in a Highly Commercialised World. What is the faith upon which we base the meaning of Advent and Christmas?

Sat, Feb 17th Enlarged Horizons of the Emerging Spirituality. Particular attention will be given to science, ecology and creation-spirituality.

Sat, Mar 10th “Who do you say that I am?” Is Jesus still relevant for our time?
