These sessions replace the former Centering Prayer/Introduction to Meditation sessions. They will comprise input from various spiritual writers and traditions, a period of meditation, a sharing on the input to enrich each participant’s understanding and insight regarding the input and will end with prayers relevant to the input and to one’s daily life.

Dr Hester O Connor is an experienced Mindfulness and Heartfulness meditator and trainer.
Hester has extensive experience as a Clinical Psychologist in the UK & Ireland. In these experiential sessions Hester will cover a range of topics for building resilience and dealing with stress: health & well-being, focus, decision making, empathy & compassion, happiness and resilience.During the classes you will experience Heartfulness Meditation and learn key micro practices that can be used throughout the day. These practical classes are suitable for anyone over the age of eighteen years who wants to learn how medita
tion is a tool to deal with the stresses and pressures of daily life. Classes will last up to 75 minutes.

The science behind meditation as a tool for dealing with stress and building resilience.
How to make use of the micro practices of Heartfulness to deal with the ups and downs of life.
