These Tai Chi classes will guide you through the opening postures of form and introduce the principles of Tai Chi movement for personal practice. The concept of the ‘Internal’ energy will be examined through partnership by the traditional method of guided assessment.
A set of Solo Exercises will be taught that will assist the student gain ‘centre movement’ necessary for the proper practice of traditional Tai Chi Chuan.
Neil Drew has practiced Tai Chi and Chi Kung for around 40 years and has been taught by two Chinese Masters of the Yang Family Lineage. He began teaching in Ireland in the early 90’s and has worked with a number of health organisations such as ARC Cancer Support and has developed Fall Prevention Programs for the HSE using Tai Chi and Chi Kung. Neil has also had several television appearances on programmes that promote natural health and Tai Chi and Chi kung. In 2010 Neil was awarded Tai Chi Chuan Grand Master of the Year Award by Black Belt International.

Lynne has over 40 years experience in art education. She began her teaching career in Rockford Manor Secondary School, Blackrock and has taught students of all ages in Ireland and Canada.
She has an in-depth knowledge of visual arts instruction including drawing, painting, sculpture, print making, mixed materials and computer graphics.Find out more »
